go offline for a while
dedicated to those who's lives have been changes without notice, to those who can still go back
We are so trapped by our pretty new online social environment, that we merely miss the rest. For several years now, we find ourselves caught by certain online social networks, friendship sites, messengers, blogging, sharing life through photos, updating professional status, leading discussions... while outside life itself is breathing under the blue sky and shinny sky, while the wind blows away our years, while our children grow and elders die... Some dance all night, some read for hours, some climb mountains, some cook, some tenderly kiss, some scream, some cry.
If you're not one of those who were trapped a least once, happily you! Most probably you aren't reading this, at least not now. But someday, somehow... they'll catch you too. And at that point, you'll need to be prepared, you'll need to know how to breach out.
We can't escape. We can't pass by not knowing, not doing it. So we just have to know when it's enough and really know where the boundary is - between using and being used. We need to know when and how to take a deep breath. We need to learn to step aside and stay. We need to laugh with friends side by side. We need to go online just for a reason. And the reason should be a good one.
We need to know how to go offline for a while.

priceless moment no. 89
wind in summer
It could have been another Monday evening. It could have been an ordinary day. It could have been a simple night fall before the next four working days.
But the wind decided not to be like yesterday. Nor like the week before.
I urged for some fresh air, I dreamed about a few clouds in the sky. I put on a light dress and went outside. As I turned my eyes up, I realized. I heard. I felt. The wind was running through the tree, and leaves seamed to sing as they were balanced. The dark blue sky revealed just a few stars. The coulds seamed rather orange due to city light that went up to reach them. The trees were bending. My hair flew all around. My dress was running by the wind and the cold air was surrounding life itself. The only human-touched sound was from my neighbours' feng shui door bells.
I closed my eyes and let my heart run with the wind.
The leaves are still singing... but it's already too late... so I'll choose a place to sleep. As it may really be my bed, today I'll call it my palace of wind-pillows.
Good night and sweet dreams, my beloved wind! Today I'm free, as you!

priceless moment no. 88
those days when internet was
not yet born… when mailbox was real
I miss… I miss the old days ... when I was choosing the paper,
choosing the envelope, choosing the pen. Then I started writing and fill
several pages in a row.
Then I used to go to the post office to buy a beautiful stamp, stuck it carefully in the corner and then, excited, I used to throw the letter in the large red box on the street.
Then wait. Counting the days. I imagine how my letter was put in plastic bag, then sorted, the went far away into the last carriage of the train, then arrived at another post office, then it was placed carefully in a big brown bag among other letters and finally arrived in the mailbox.
It was carefully torn, or cut in speed, in the first minute or after a few days. Then started to write back. And keep writing. And writing. Answered my questions, told me new things and made a long list of questions. And plans for farewell.
Then a new letter started the adventure of its life on the way to me.
And I counted the days I should receive it. And one day, I opened the mailbox ...

We are defined by what we are, by our behaviours, believes, relations and by how we interact with life itself. What gives us more options than the other animals are conscience and reason. That is why not only we can use these, but we have to. We can improve our behavioural patterns. We can be better. We can be healthier. We can be better friends, parents, lovers, colleagues, bosses, children. We can bring more smiles to others' lifes.
For all these, we just have to take a deep look at ourselves, be free and speak about our fears and hopes and failures. And listen to others' experiences and learn from them.
Be free! Be openminded! Be a good listner! Be paitient! And all will come back to you in a wellbeing promise package. It's up to each of us to open the package and see the best within.

variety by night
some sleepy, some still up
some full of light, some on economy mode
some dreaming, some still at dinner
some at TV, some on internet
I like to open the window, take a deep breath of colder air, at twilight or dawn, and look over the street. It's so quiet, so simple, so human. I few people laugh and return home from a late party. One or two come and go with their dogs. Everyone with a different story, with hopes, with dreams or sorrows. And myself, at the windows, with my own story.

priceless moment no. 82
end of a perfect simple week-end
What made it simple? Just being a common one. A bit of walk in a sunny day, a bit of shopping, a lot of fun with the kid at a playground, some cooking for the family, a lot of episodes of a tv series, one early morning and one late morning. Nothing special, just everything at it's time. Nothing extravagant, just reasonable values.
What made it a perfect simple one? At the end of two full days, I still have power to go on. That's quality time that could be locked in a perpetuum mobile and not harm my senses.

a non-valentine's day
It's ok not to celebrate this day, almost ending Feb 14th. It's ok to be alone. It's ok to have a two-special day if all the rest of your life is as happy as today. It's ok to be different. It's ok to not follow trends.
It's ok to have your own other special day. It's ok to have great moments any other time. To enjoy life and love in your own rithm. It's better to sing life in your own word. Celebrate love and treasure it when you have it, every second, not just once a year!

January 1st, yesterday
There is something special about the first day of the year. People have faith. Some have new habbits. Some just for the day, some for a week or two, some for a lifetime. It is the time to draw the line to the past. It is the time for resolutions, promises and hope in our lifes.
All year long we wait for it as a promissing future; there is only one time we can call it yesterday. Today.

snowflake flight. floating. immortal.
I am the frozen wind that stops. I am the lost drops at rain that stare at the sun through the rounded rainbow. Well... to be honest, I wish I was all these... I am just the snowflake that doesn‘t dare to fall.
Free, light, I have stopped bellow the clouds so I can watch the world. I let myself float over seas and plains, over mountains and animated cities. I admire the wonders of the world. I look for the last flowers left behind. I see the kids playing. I see grown ups playing. I feel the joy. Sorrow is forgotten these days.
I look back and see lots of my brothers prepared to come to you. Well, that means it's time to go down to Earth, to you. If the joy of snow is soon coming, I want to be part of it. It might take a few days, just believe in our encounter and the white will cover you when the time is right. So, see you soon!

There is a precious moment in anyone's life when you understand how things go; you don't run anymore for superlative. That is the day when you really start living your life.
Whatever it was your fairytale dream, about incredible love, tones of money, plenty of laughs, overwelming power, tremendous career... you let them go. And stick to reality. You have a bit of everything and you are happy about it. You accept it, embrase it, and give yourself the true chance to hapiness.
Life is not a chase; it's a time to enjoy, to treasure, to live with all your heart. To be just fine. To smile anytime you can. To hug the beloved ones when they are still here with you. To remember any good moment and keep it fresh in your heart forever.
You learn to be happy with your life. You make others happy. You are happiness itselft.

priceless moment no. 74
slow down. don't run.
During two days of week-end, we hurry to catch up all the tranquility moments we missed during the other five days of the week. We are so focused to do everything, that we forget to slow down and live free.
Let's forget about 24/24 & 7/7 concept, let's just relax and have our hours of freedom.
Look at the stars in the sky, have a bath in the sea, climb a hill, lie down in grass, take a walk, sing a song, make a cake, kiss your beloved, visit your parents... do what you would have done if we were a hundred years ago.
